Just in time for the summer season, Barnes & Noble announced the lower-priced Nook Wi-Fi. The reader retails for $149 and gives you complimentary access at all AT&T Wi-Fi hot spots. The company is also lowering the cost of Nook 3G to $199.

Nook Wi-Fi is available from www.nook.com and at BestBuy for $149 starting this week, just in time for summer.
